What do High School Teachers do? 

High School Teachers spend most of their time in a classroom. However, they are not required to sit behind a desk and only teach one subject. They are instead expected to make sure that students are engaged and learning. They also need to monitor the progress of each student and encourage them when they are struggling. They are required to prepare lessons plans and tests for each class and to use teaching techniques such as lecturing, role playing, and providing examples to help students understand concepts. High school teachers have a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. Once the applicant is selected, they are given a detailed orientation on the curriculum requirements and taught how to properly interact with the students.
